The PPM Mechanical Understanding
Test is a performance instrument that assess an individual's understanding of
basic mechanical principles. This assessment measures an individual's
mechanical aptitude, but it is not greatly influenced by prior experience or training.
It is comprised of 32 multiple choice items and has an 8 minute time limit.
The Mechanical Understanding Test
is part of the Power and Performance Measures (PPM)
series of tests.
