ORPHEUS
User
Level: C
The ORPHEUS is a work-based "Big Five" personality measure. It is designed as a general-purpose occupational personality test and intended for use in selection, recruitment, promotion, and development contexts. It is comprised of 190 items rated on 4-point scales and can be completed by most people in about 20 minutes.
The ORPHEUS yields a Big Five-based profile supplemented by seven evaluative scales. These are additional measures designed to screen for ambiguous or inaccurate responding. Finally, the
ORPHEUS uses a correction factor to account for response style. As a result, the
ORPHEUS provides a rather unique source of information about an individual's strengths and weaknesses as well as preferences and style.
