MPQ Factor Version 5 (MPQ5) is a short-form version of the Manchester Personality Questionnaire (MPQ14.2) and provides a quick assessment of the basic Big Five-Factor personality dimensions. Taking only ten minutes to complete, the MPQ5 consists of 50 statements to which individuals respond using a five point rating scale. 

In addition to an analysis of behavioral preferences, the MPQ5 identifies the type of work environment in which an individual is most likely to be effective. This is supplemented with a series of interview questions designed for coaching and self-development. As a result of its features, the MPQ5 is especially well-suited for screenings, group development projects, coaching, and other situations where a cost-effective, developmentally-based global measure of work-related personality traits is required.

What the MPQ5 Measures
