Level: C
The Employee Screening Questionnaire (ESQ) is a personality-based selection assessment that examines job candidate's work ethic and dependability.
The ESQ predicts future job performance including an applicant's probable job commitment, risk of engaging in counterproductive work behaviors,
and the propensity for positive work behaviors. The ESQ contains 27 forced-choice items and takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
This assessment is available in both English and Spanish.
The ESQ was designed to reduce the tendency to "fake good" though its innovative use of a forced-choice format. The efficacy of this approach has been supported by research literature.
The ESQ is designed to reduce both voluntary and involuntary turnover, theft, and absenteeism by eliminating high-risk applicants and is suitable for use in broad range of pre-employment assessment situations.
