The ElecTest is a test
of electrical job knowledge. It is a job skills test designed to measure
knowledge and skill for electrical repair and maintenance technicians. It can be
used for both job applicants and incumbents for positions where practical
electrical knowledge and skill are necessary. The test is comprised of 60
multiple-choice items and takes less than an hour to complete.

Report Scoring
The test-taker’s performance
is compared with a normative national sample of 201 employed mechanics. Number
of items correct and percentile rank are reported for each knowledge area as
well as for the test as a whole.
