The
Eating Inventory is a clinical tool that is designed to assess three
aspects of eating behavior--cognitive restraint, disinhibition, and hunger. The Eating
Inventory has 51 multiple choice questions and can be completed in 15 minutes.
The Eating Inventory helps to recognize
and treat eating-related disorders. It can be used to monitor clinical
progress, evaluate treatment programs for obesity, predict weight gain following
smoking cessation, explain weight changes among depressed persons, and assess
