The AMA DISC Survey is designed to assess and provide personal feedback about the ways that people approach their work and relate to others within their organizations. This assessment measures the four basic styles of behavior derived from the DISC framework. (Directing, Influencing, Supportive, and Contemplative). Taking approximately 20-25 minutes to complete, participants indicate the extent to which 80 statements are descriptive of how they behave when they are on the job.
In addition to determining an individual's most descriptive style and DISC profile, the AMA DISC Survey provides suggestions for development and growth based upon the individual's pattern of scores. The Survey is designed to be used for developmental purposes with individuals, groups, and organizations and can assist in fostering personal development, team building, and organizational change.
What the
AMA DISC Survey Measures
The AMA DISC Survey
assesses the following dimensions:

Supportive |
Contemplative |
A percentile score for each dimension is calculated based upon a normative sample of 2150 respondents. A detailed report then follows which provides information on an individual's style and DISC profile. This is augmented with a series of individualized suggestions for personal development.
