The Devine Inventory SelectBest is a behavioral profiling instrument used by organizations interested in maximizing the potential of their employees. Comprised of 177 items, the SelectBest takes about 45 minutes to complete. The bulk of the items are paired forced choice questions while the remainder involve rating a series of statements on 9-point scales. The instrument is designed for use in employee selection and promotion.

What the SelectBest Measures

The SelectBest describes a test-taker's personality profile on series of 33 behavioral and personality descriptors. The test-taker's responses are matched against a normative database of managers.
