The Team Development Profile (TDP) is a 360° feedback instrument that focuses upon the functioning of both a team and its members. Taking about 30 minutes, each team member completes the TDP. It is comprised of 72 behavioral items rated on a five-point scale in terms of both current and expected team functioning in addition to 13 items describing the importance of various aspects of team behavior.

The TDP is a unique 360° multi-rater instrument for team development that provides both individual and team-level feedback. Applications include team building, identifying high potential team leaders, work group collaboration, and team needs analyses. Repeated administrations can serve as a team development benchmarking tool.

The TDP also comes with a copy of the CCI Self Instructional Participant’s Workbook that includes a guide to interpreting TDP feedback as well as developing a self-directed action plan.

What the TDP Measures

The TDP measures the team and its members functioning on 13 competency sets:

The TDP Report

The TDP report provides extensive feedback to the participant and is comprised of the following components:

	Overall Results Summarizes the number of respondents who provided feedback and reviews strengths and areas for development.
	Overall Importance Ratings Identifies the skills rated as most important by each respondent group.
	Strengths and Developmental Needs
	Strengths and Developmental Needs by Frequency of Occurrence
	Analysis by Importance Ratings Illustrates the importance ratings for each skill competency. Priority skills also are identified.
	Analysis by Behavior Describes in anonymous fashion how each colleague responded to each question. A gap analysis is provided measuring the difference between the team’s current and expected functioning.
