pan Forms Joint Marketing Agreement with BDT International

February 1, 2004. Indianapolis, IN - Performance Assessment Network, Inc. (“pan”), the international best-practices provider of web assessment and e-testing solutions, today announced a joint marketing agreement with Behavior Description Technologies International Ltd. (BDT), a provider of cost-efficient and scientifically supported human resource (HR) systems. Under the terms of this agreement, BDT and pan will co-market their products and services to potential and existing customers.

"pan and BDT share a commitment to providing employers with the tools and technology needed to hire the right people and enhance workforce performance," said Rob Vaughan, pan's senior vice president of sales. "This marketing agreement will enable our customers to achieve greater efficiency in their employment processes to create positive business outcomes."

Incorporated in 1984 under the name of Human Performance Systems, BDT grew as an extension of the industrial psychology practice of Dr. Tom Janz, author of the best-selling book Behavior Description Interviewing: New, Accurate and Cost Effective. Dr. Janz and his associates saw that human performance management practices were based on non-specific and essentially non-defensible criteria typically set out by those in power or arrived at by non-scientific consensus. Today, BDT reports that its field tested and proven selection strategies are two to five times more accurate than traditional selection strategies in predicting on-the-job performance.

Customers achieve impressive results with pan's state-of-the-art, secure automated systems for the administration and delivery of professional assessment and testing instruments. The pan technology system, patented in the United States, has defined the best practice in web-based assessment, and has exceeded the security and performance audit requirements of some of the most demanding, security-conscious users in operation.
